Why Teaching?

I have ALWAYS wanted to be some kind of educator. When I was little,I wanted to be a teacher that taught all four core subjects. As I got older and I discovered my love for literature, I changed my mind and decided English would be the route to go. My father influenced me as well because he was an avid reader. My love for teaching came from watching my mom who was also an educator. I wanted to be like her. Except she taught science and I was not too keen on that. But thankfully, I was able to recognize my calling before I got to college and I graduated with a degree and a teaching certificate. Now I am doing the job I honestly believe I was born to do.
